PUBLICA

PUBLICA is the pension fund of the Swiss Confederation, based in Bern, and covers employees of the federal administration as well as numerous affiliated organizations, including ETH institutions and other federal bodies. It runs occupational pension provision for these employers; granting mortgages itself is not part of its offering.

For financing a home, PUBLICA explains the two paths under home ownership promotion. With an advance withdrawal, the available equity increases while the future pension decreases at the same time. With pledging, the balance stays with PUBLICA and the insured benefits continue unchanged. Advisory channels and a digital assistant are available for questions.
