PKB Pensionskasse Basel-Stadt

PKB Basel-Stadt provides pension coverage for staff of the canton of Basel-Stadt and affiliated employers. Insured members can withdraw the entire free balance in advance for housing up to age 50; from age 50 onward, a halving rule applies.

The application is submitted in writing to the fund. PKB stresses that an advance withdrawal reduces the future pension and recommends discussing the consequences beforehand with a pension advisor. A pledge is also available as an alternative that preserves the pension.
