Raiffeisenbank Nidwalden was formed in 2017 through the merger of Raiffeisenbank Region Stans and Raiffeisenbank Vierwaldstaettersee-Sued. It is the primary bank for private individuals and SMEs in the canton of Nidwalden as well as in Engelberg and Seelisberg, and at the time of the merger it operated several branches across the region.
The mortgage range follows the standard Raiffeisen framework with fixed-rate, SARON, and variable mortgages. The direct line to the local bank and the cooperative model are typical of Raiffeisen: decisions are made by staff who know the regional property market.
